Países Bajos: "Temporada corta de mango peruano con buenos precios"

"Al comienzo de la temporada de mango peruano estaba claro que la cosecha sería menor que el año pasado. Esto se debió a las bajas temperaturas durante la temporada de crecimiento", dice Eryvan Pires de Fruitmarket. 

"La temporada del Perú está casi terminando. Fue muy breve, ya que comenzó más tarde y hubo un volumen mucho menor que el año pasado. La calidad era normal y los precios eran buenos, en un promedio entre 3,75 euros y 6 euros." Él indica que la temporada terminó oficialmente la semana pasada, pero es posible que restos podrían encontrar su camino a Europa, debido a la gran sobre-producción en ciertas áreas.
