National Mango Board events:
South America: Workshops scheduled in top six mango importing nations




The National Mango Board (NMB) is working to improve mango quality through eight Mango Extension Workshops scheduled in the top six mango importing countries. The NMB’s expert staff will present research and findings, as well as best practices from their Postharvest Best Management Practices Manual, available in English, Spanish and now in Portuguese.

The 2012 Extension Workshop schedule is as follows:

May 25 & 26, 2012 – Chiapas, Mexico
June 13, 2012 - Haiti
July 4 & 5, 2012 – Peru
July 19, 2012 – Brazil
August 9 & 10, 2012 - Colima, Mexico
August 30 & 31, 2012 - Ecuador
September 27 & 28, 2012 – Nayarit, Mexico
December 5, 2012 – Guatemala

IMO East Coast USA Tour ...

Cape Canaveral, Florida - The IMO is currently on a two week tour through the Eat Coast USA.




The IMO is on a two week tour which started on the 18th of April in Miami, Florida and will include visits with key actors involved with the upcoming IMO 4th Global Mango Conference in Trinidad & Tobago.




Yesterday, IMO Executive Director met with Arne Rotne, President of Healthier Programs, founder of the I.A.S.Q. certification Programs based in Stuart, Florida.


The IMO tour includes meet and greet Stops in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Orlando, and the Miami Area with major importers and Distributors.
