LUFTHANSA ROLLS OUT THE NEW BOEING 747-8 ....

Airplane p0rn extra: Boeing rolls out Lufthansa’s new 747-8I out of the paintshop.

It’s Monday still and the Lufthansa press machine has been at it again, so it’s time for Airplane p0rn extra! Today Boeing rolled out Lufthansa’s new Boeing 747-8I out of the paint shop. And yes, whilst it is still Eurowhite, with the blue tail and the crane on the back of the plane – it does look pretty.

MUMBAI, India — Inside his tiny office near the entrance of Crawford Market, Arvind Morde is a bit harried. It is mango season, after all. His telephone rings. A client wants to ship a box of mangoes to Germany, a gift for the Indian-born conductor Zubin Mehta. Another caller wants to send a box to Switzerland; still another, to Singapore.

Mumbai residents prize mangoes from the Konkan coast.

Mr. Morde, 66, takes down each order on a small pad, scribbling the names and addresses. For 92 years, his family has sold fruit from the same prime location beneath the stone arches of Crawford Market, and Mr. Mor…

INDIA: Mango production falls in Maharashtra ...

Aurangabad (Maharashtra) ,

Sun, 03 Jun 2012ANI

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), June 3 (ANI): Unstable climatic conditions and insufficient rainfall has hit mango production here, affecting the local as well as the export varieties of the fruit.

Interacting with reporters recently, farmers blamed climate change and paucity of water for the dip in production.

"Whatever produce we had this year has been ruined. I think one of the main reasons is climate change and second is scarcity of water. We are distressed due to this," said, Devdasi Tarak, a mango grower.

He urged state authorities to grant financial aid to farmers.

"We request our representatives to talk to state authorities and urge them to give us compensation. We also expect some aid in such trying times from the state government," he added.

Farmers also complained of the produce not fetching good dividends.

"I have about 500 orchids and this year I made huge investments into mango production. However I could not eve…
