La universidad de Stanford está haciendo seguimiento a los processo electorales venezolanos desde que Chávez llegó al poder. 



Ya se vació toda la data concerniente a las elecciones del 7 de octubre a nivel parroquial, municipal y estadal y podemos observar el comportamiento del electorado con los colores tradicionales de las fuerzas políticas que chocan. World’s top firms fail to report on supply chain water use ...

None of the world’s top 250 companies reported the total amount of water used by their supply chain, even though the issue has been raised as one of the most significant long-term risks for business.






Water Scarcity: A dive into global reporting trends, published this week by KPMG, looked at how the Fortune 250 had reported on its water use in the past year. 


It found 76 per cent addressed water issues in their corporate responsibility reporting and a third reported water usage within the company. 



But not one of the companies reported how much water was used throughout their supply chain, and just three disclosed a water footprint including any part of the supply chain.







The report highlighted water usage as an area of increasing interest for investors and shareholders when assessing a businesses performance and cited reporting on water usage in the supply chain as an increasingly important method of showing improved efficiency.

(Reuters) - Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro is alive and well, according to Elias Jaua, a former Venezuelan vice president who says he met with Castro over the weekend.



Squelching rumors that Castro was at death's door, Jaua, a key aide to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, on Sunday showed reporters pictures of the Saturday meeting and said Castro, 86, was in good health and lucid.





Jaua, who is running for governor in Venezuela's contested state of Miranda, said Castro accompanied him to Havana's famed Hotel National early on Saturday evening after their meeting. He then chatted briefly with the hotel's general manager, Antonio Martinez Rodriguez, before departing.




Castro's long absence from the public eye has fueled blogger and Twitter rumors for weeks that he was dead or near dying.

La Habana.- El expresidente de Cuba Fidel Castro se reunió el sábado en La Habana con el exvicepresidente venezolano Elías Jaua, al que acompañó posteriormente al Hotel Nacional de la capital cubana, lo que supone su primera aparición pública desde hace meses y tras semanas de rumores sobre su salud.




Jaua confirmó hoy esta reaparición de Fidel Castro en declaraciones a periodistas en el Hotel Nacional, donde mostró una fotografía del líder de la revolución cubana dentro de un vehículo, sonriente y con buen aspecto, informó Efe.
