VENEZUELA DEJO DE SER TAN FELIZ ...

Un nuevo informe mundial sobre la felicidad publicado por la Red de Soluciones para el Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU vuelve a demostrar que el bienestar de la población es un componente crítico que mide el desarrollo económico y social del mundo.






Según la clasificación, Dinamarca es el país más feliz de los 156 estudiados, seguido de Noruega, Suiza, Países Bajos, Suecia y Canadá. 




Costa Rica, en la posición 12.º, es el país más ‘feliz’ de América Latina, y España ocupa el 38.º puesto de la lista. 





Venezuela cae al puesto 20 con respecto al informe Gallup del año pasado que nos dio el cuarto lugar








El trabajo, realizado por expertos en economía, psicología, análisis de encuestas y estadísticas nacionales, profundiza con más detalle que la edición del año pasado (la primera, sobre los datos de 2005 a 2007) en el análisis de los datos globales (entre 2010 y 2012) sobre la felicidad.

Mango’s owner proposes new I-Drive pedestrian bridge

The owner of Mango's Tropical Cafe is proposing a new pedestrian walkway over the busy intersection of International Drive and Sand Lake Road.









The owner of the planned restaurant/nightclub in Orlando’s International Drive tourist corridor is looking at ways of making a very busy intersection a little more walkable.








Josh Wallack, Mango’s chief operating officer, said his company is evaluating how to address a lack of parking on the site, and one option could be adding a pedestrian walkway at the intersection of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road.








The firm initially looked at asking Orange County for a parking variance that would have allowed for an offsite parking lot on the north side of Sand Lake Road behind the Perkins restaurant, but that idea ran into some opposition, and has been delayed until Mango's can complete its due diligence.
