Wine can be an integral part of a meal.

But for those who aren't sure what to serve at their next dinner party, Wine Folly has created the perfect beginners' wine chart.

Originally found through Visual.ly, the experts at Wine Folly made an infographic that breaks down the basics of every type of wine, including calorie count, alcohol content, and most importantly, which wines pair best with which food.

Having pizza?

Try a nice Merlot.

Ordering in some spicy Thai cuisine?

Go with a sweet white, like a Moscato.

Vegetarian?

A dry white such as Pinot Gris will pair well with sautéed vegetables or flaky fish.

Never pair your dinner with the wrong wine again. Check out the chart below (click to enlarge).

There's A $10 Billion Plan To House 40,000 People On A Huge Boat

A Florida-based firm wants to create a 'community on the sea' which would circle the globe every two years

The wealthy could soon choose to spend their entire lives circumnavigating the world on a vast floating city, if the vision of a Florida-based firm becomes reality.

The $10 billion Freedom Ship would offer 40,000 residents a permanent ocean-going home complete with hospitals, schools, shops, parks and even a small airport.

At 25 storeys high and a mile long - four times longer than the Queen Mary II - the 2.7 million-tonne vessel would be so large that it could never enter a port.

Instead, it would circle the globe once every two years, anchoring offshore major cities to allow its residents to enjoy some of the world’s top destinations - or shake off any seasickness.

Envisioned to spend approximately 70 per cent of its time moored up and 30 per cent transiting between countries, the Freedom Ship w…

We have more bacteria in our gut than cells in our body.

As foreign as it sounds, the word microbiome may soon be part of the mainstream lexicon. The term refers to the microbes or bacteria that naturally inhabit the body from the surface of your skin to your gut.

We tend to think of microbes as bad—pathogens that need to be killed—but new research suggests that storing scores of them is paramount to our health and metabolism.

"We have 100 trillion microbes in our gut — more bacteria than cells in the body," says Frank Lipman, MD, the founder of Eleven Eleven Wellness in Manhattan.

" They aid in digestion and detoxification, help support our immune system, and manufacture key vitamins, among other functions. Western medicine is catching on to the importance of all the bacteria in our bodies, especially in our gut. In Functional Medicine we've been manip…

AUSTRALIA MANGO INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (AMIA) : PROMOTING MANGOES

Spreading the Honey Gold Mango message at the Australian Mango Industry Association's Mango Messtival at North Bondi in Sydney is sweet work.

Piñata Farms' Rebecca Scurr and managing director Gavin Scurr were talking up a mango storm... Yum!

Australian Mangoes has partnered the North Bondi Nippers for the inaugural Mango Mess-tival.

The aptly named mini festival will see North Bondi filled with the Aussie fruity favourite to raise funds for a new clubhouse.

In the lead-in to this weekend's event, Pinata Farms' managing director - in his capacity as chairman of the Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA) - took part in a live cross covering the weather AND mango tips on this morning's Today show.

For his very fine effort, we have an Oscar waiting for Gavin on his return to Queensland.

And a Logie. A cold beer. And a round of applause.
