Here is the Microbiology report again. Trying to clarify for all to understand how important this is.

In our study of the Journey to Better Soil Health, we must understand that we have a bio - geo- chemical process that we are trying to manipulate in a positive way that will result in better soil health and better soil structure.

Combined we get better plant health when all is well with the soil and we've been successful in rehabilitating the soil.

In chemical reactions, specific molecules (chemicals of nature included) can cause a Mechanism of Action.

For example the active ingredient in Aspirin will have an effect on the inflammation of tissues, going beyond just telling the brain that the pain is gone or reduced.

In the case of the carbon rich molecules of soil that we erroneously call Humic Acid, which I now prefer to call the "Organic Matrix of Supramolecular Humic Molecules" another Mechanism of Action is protecting a crop from Salinity or helping the crop with the uptake of water.

The paper attached to this email however covers something different.

It covers a Mode of Action, which is a biological process that in this case benefitting the microbial activity of bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi.

The paper was written by an independent lab scientist who evaluated TerraPro for its ability to instigate, support and sustain microbial life.

What this paper does not do is make it clear that in the test they used a commercial brand of base extracted Humic Acids and did not get any microbial growth from that product.

The TerraPro side of the plates eventually caused the microbial bloom of both bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to spread across the whole plate.

Also tested by this lab was raw granulated Humate (oxidized lignite) and biochar, neither of which instigated or supported a microbial growth bloom Mode of Action.

This paper is on our web site under Education. Also, read the testimonial letter below from Craig Thames - Grounds Foreman for the Midland Texas school district.

My name is Craig Thames and I am the Grounds Foreman for the Midland Independent School District. This is my testimonial for the products that we used from Soil Secrets. This was the first year for us as a school district to use Soil Secrets products on our athletic fields. The products that we used were: Humus Based Soil Conditioner (humic acid), Endo Maxima Mycorrhizal, and Protein Crumblies. After applying these products we were able to see an amazing result. Our grass was greener and definitely thicker in nature. Our athletic fields were able to grow better choking out the weeds serving as a better weed control than in the past. Also our athletic fields seemed to stand up better to the rigors of a season long day in and day out practices. We are extremely excited about these products and the results they produce. As we move forward into the future using Soil Secrets products we hope to use these products not only on existing practice fields, game fields; but also on new grounds that are being built. As a grounds department we highly recommend anyone to use these products as they yield great results.

While "Flavor" is very subjective, and each country that grows mangoes is very nationalistic, these are the mango varieties that are the most sought after around the world because of sweetnesss (Brix) and demand.

The Chaunsa has a Brix rating in the 22 degree level which is unheard of!
Carabao claims to be the sweetest mango in the world and was able to register this in the Guiness book of world records.
Perhaps it is time for a GLOBAL taste test ???

Alphonso (mango)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alphonso (हापुस Haapoos in Marathi, હાફુસ in Gujarati, ಆಪೂಸ್ Aapoos in Kannada) is a mango cultivar that is considered by many[who?] to be one of the best in terms of sweetness, richness and flavor.

It has considerable shelf life of a week after it is ripe making it exportable.

It is also one of the most expensive kinds of mango and is grown mainly in Kokan region of western India.

It is in season April through May and the fruit wei…

Mangoes date back 65 million years according to research ...

Experts at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany (BSIP) here have traced the origin of mango to the hills of Meghalaya, India from a 65 million year-old fossil of a mango leaf.

The earlier fossil records of mango (Mangifera indica) from the Northeast and elsewhere were 25 to 30 million years old. The 'carbonized leaf fossil' from Damalgiri area of Meghalaya hills, believed to be a mango tree from the peninsular India, was found by Dr R. C. Mehrotra, senior scientist, BSIP and his colleagues.

After careful analysis of the fossil of the mango leaf and leaves of modern plants, the BISP scientist found many of the fossil leaf characters to be similar to mangifera.

An extensive study of the anatomy and morphology of several modern-day species of the genus mangifera with the fossil samples had reinforced the concept that its centre of origin is Northeast India, from where it spread into neighbouring areas, says Dr. Mehrotra.

The genus is believed to have disseminated into neighb…
