LuLu hosts mango festival across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

LuLu Hypermarkets has launched a week long mango festival, which continues till May 28.

Er. Thariq Al-Mulhim, manager of agricultural extension department, Eastern Province, inaugurated the event on Thursday.

“This time, we are bringing the royal collection of mangoes from the royal orchards of the kings’ farms,”
a Lulu executive said. 

The collection includes varieties from Bada Bagh orchards, which is managed by Sayed Ghani Khan’s family at Kirugavulu in Malavally taluk of Karnataka state’s Mandya district.

Regarding the Arab world, Mango has an esteemed position among fruits in Egypt since the pre-historic era.
