After four years of tending bar at Centaurus, the most elite brothel in the sex-for-pay melee that is the recklessly beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Limas — 47 years old, pleasantly gruff and handsomely handlebar mustached — had become unfazeable.

Even though it was forbidden, clients would often try and get him to come into one of the upstairs rooms, to sleep with him, or to watch him sleep with the girls whose time they had paid for.

There were displays of lavish grandiosity: Limas says that after Brazil claimed ultimate victory in the 2002 World Cup, one of the team's soccer gods, known for a famously healthy sexual appetite, shut the place down to have his own private party (extra decoration that night: a g…

THE CHOICE IS YOURS : AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF "CURE"

In a world where corporations want to add (the chemical weapon) Aspartame to milk (without labeling it!); in a world of GMO’s with hidden viruses and possible ET genes; in a world of Frankenfish with deformed spines; a world of pink slime, virus-injected meat, human-cow hybrids’ milk, and a psychiatric diagnosis for every known human emotion, um, yeah, sign me up for the local, organic, sustainable, real food Farmacy.

AFRICA : Senegalese Kent mangoes now imported directly by Spain

Until now they arrived via the UK and the Netherlands

This week, the first two containers with 36 tonnes of mangoes from Senegal reached the port of Algeciras, being the first time that Spain imported this popular product directly from the African country.

"It has not been easy, but after more than two years of hard work, on Saturday we started distributing Kent mangoes ready for consumption imported directly from Senegal, as until now these were imported via the UK and the Netherlands," explains Roberto Vidal, representative of the company Yalifrut SL.

"The reason why this hadn't been done until now is because many were wary about purchasing the fruit because everything must be paid in advance."

"We just founded the company this year and this is our first campaign. We can already say that we are pioneers in the marketing of Senegalese mango in Spain!" says Roberto enthusiastically.

"These Kent mangoes are carefully selected in close cooperation wit…
