Puerto Portete, madriguera de ‘bachaqueros’ y vía que desangra la economía de Venezuela

En la localidad de Puerto Nuevo, cerca de la bahía de Portete, Alta Guajira, las organizaciones del contrabando y el paramilitarismo, manejan su propio puerto. 








“El cierre de la frontera por Venezuela no se justifica”, dijo el presidente Juan Manuel Santos, pero omite que el territorio colombiano es una “zona gris” donde, con ‘accionistas’ de casi todo el continente, se manejan los negocios más lucrativos del crimen organizado.









Sobre el estado de excepción en la frontera con Colombia:







El rústico desembarcadero de puerto Nuevo, operado por una empresa de ‘guajiros ricos’, denominada Pensoport S.A.- que maneja como esclavos a su personal wayuu- es tolerado por la DIAN de Colombia (Aduanas e Impuestos Nacionales).







En las ciudades de Maicao, Riohacha y Valledupar (Guajira y César), 48 personas han adquirido grandes propiedades, producto del contrabando de combustible, alimentos y otras mercancías provenientes de Venezuela.






















Camino de desertores



Según datos oficiales de Migración Colombia, “720 cubanos han ingresado – de manera irregular, en lo que va del año, por la frontera de Cúcuta- tras desertar en Venezuela”. Los médicos reclaman en Bogotá visado a EE.UU.








Carros de combate




Los blindados- reporta la agencia inglesa Reuters- tienen capacidad para transportar 11 soldados equipados, cuentan con un sistema digital de control remoto para accionar armamento desde su interior, así como con un moderno sistema antiminas y de absorción de explosiones.





Antes de su viaje a EE.UU. para asumir la Embajada de Colombia, Juan Carlos Pinzón, ministro de Defensa, anunció que el material se encuentra bajo control de la Fuerza de Tarea de Armas Combinadas Medianas del Ejército, acantonado en una unidad, ubicada cerca del municipio de Distracción, al sur del departamento de La Guajira, en la frontera con Venezuela.





Antecedentes



Como hecho histórico y trascendente, Puerto Portete fue escenario de un suceso que marcó la vida de los wayuu colombianos. 








El 16 de abril de 2004, paramilitares del bloque Contrainsurgencia Wayuu, al mando de Rodrigo Tovar Pupo, alias “Jorge 40”, masacraron a doce indígenas. 


A la sazón, unos 600 indígenas huyeron a Venezuela.

Alphonso (हापुस Haapoos in Marathi, હાફુસ in Gujarati, ಆಪೂಸ್ Aapoos in Kannada) is a mango cultivar that is considered by many[who?] to be one of the best in terms of sweetness, richness and flavor. 


It has considerable shelf life of a week after it is ripe making it exportable.

Experts at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany (BSIP) here have traced the origin of mango to the hills of Meghalaya, India from a 65 million year-old fossil of a mango leaf. 





The earlier fossil records of mango (Mangifera indica) from the Northeast and elsewhere were 25 to 30 million years old. The 'carbonized leaf fossil' from Damalgiri area of Meghalaya hills, believed to be a mango tree from the peninsular India, was found by Dr R. C. Mehrotra, senior scientist, BSIP and his colleagues. 




After careful analysis of the fossil of the mango leaf and leaves of modern plants, the BISP scientist found many of the fossil leaf characters to be similar to mangifera.


An extensive study of the anatomy and morphology of several modern-day species of the genus mangifera with the fossil samples had reinforced the concept that its centre of origin is Northeast India, from where it spread into neighbouring areas, says Dr. Mehrotra.
