January 07, 1925 - June 02, 2015

My Father is soaring in the skies on his final mission. He blessed our lives with his enormous personality and "Can Do" attitude. In all my Life, I never saw my Dad Cry or Sad. To my Father, Life was an amazing adventure meant to be lived to the fullest. Which he did with GUSTO.There was NEVER a task too big or a challenge that could not be met. Without a doubt, the most interesting man and Hero I ever met!!!
He enjoyed all types of people and got to visit close to 70 countries in his lifetime of serving his country.

by Staff Writers
Mexico City (AFP) June 1, 2015

Andres, the first hurricane of the season in the Pacific, strengthened to a category four storm Monday but was headed away from Mexico's west coast.

Mexico's National Meteorological Service said the hurricane was packing winds of 230 kilometers (143 miles) an hour as it churned across open ocean 1,010 kilometers southwest of Isla Socorro near Cabo San Lucas, a resort city in Baja California.

Mexican weather authorities warned of the possibility of "intense to very strong" rains in the western states of Guerrero, Michoacan, Jalisco, Colima and Nayarit.

AUSTRALIA : Mango growers Prep for more US exports

Mango growers in the Northern Territory and the rest of Australia are still processing the results of the 2014/15 season, but a visit from the two importers who handled the first shipments of Australian mangoes into the US in February has meant that preparations for the 2016 export season are well under way.

“Training for pest monitoring for the upcoming 2015/16 season will start in July, and registrations with the Department of Agriculture for those growers looking to export next year will start in August,”says Michael Daysh, Market Development Officer with the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industries, and project leader on the first shipments that went to the US earlier this year.

By mid August, it should be clear which Northern Territory growers will be registering with the Government to export to the US, and in early September growers nationwide who will be exporting should be known.

Those growers looking to send mangoes to the US will need to be prepared, and show a comm…

FIFA PRESIDENT SEPP BLATTER TO RESIGN

TONY MANFRED

FIFA president Sepp Blatter is resigning as president of FIFA, he announced on Tuesday at a surprise press conference.

"FIFA needs profound restructuring,"he said in a statement.

There will be an "extraordinary congress" of FIFA and a new president will be elected, at which time he will step down the post he has held since 1998.

It's a shocking move. Two days after nine current and former FIFA officials were arrested in a $150 million bribery scandal, Blatter defiantly stood for a fifth term and was reelected in a landslide. Now, less than a week later, he's quitting.

More coming...
