MEXICO MANGO REGIONS IN HURRICANE PATRICIA'S PATH

Just an incredible and downright frightening satellite image of Category 5 Hurricane Patricia taken about 5 hours ago.



















Satellite images indicate that Hurricane Patricia has continued to intensify this evening. 








Maximum sustained winds have reached near 150 mph (240 km/h) with higher gusts - a strong Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Patricia could become a category 5 hurricane overnight, and is expected to remain an extremely dangerous hurricane through landfall.







A Hurricane Warning continues from San Blas to Punta San Telmo, and a Hurricane Watch and Tropical Storm Warning from east of Punta San Telmo to Lazaro Cardenas. Preparations to protect life and property should be rushed to completion today.

Patricia Could Hit Mexico Late Friday As Major Hurricane

Patricia, now a hurricane, is continuing to rapidly intensify over the eastern Pacific just off Mexico`s west coast. It could threaten west-central Mexico as a dangerous and destructive Category 4 hurricane later Friday.

As of 10 a.m. CDT, Patricia is located at 14.9 N and 103.8 W, about 240 miles south-southwest of Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico and 285 miles south of Manzanillo, Mexico. Its maximum sustained winds have increased to 100 mph, making it a Category 2 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale. It is moving to the west-northwest at 17 mph. The minimum central pressure is 973 mb, or 28.74 inches of mercury.

El hijo de Fidel Castro, Alex Castro, culpó al burocratismo, a corrientes conservadoras y a la corrupción por la lentitud de los cambios en Cuba en una entrevista concedida al canal de noticias chileno 24 Horas.


“Va muy lento. Yo soy de las personas que quisiera que las cosas vayan más rápido. Hay gente muy conservadora. Las corrientes conservadoras son peligrosas, porque un cambio es para mejor y si no resulta, vuelves a cambiar”,dijo sin especificar qué funcionarios formaban parte de ese grupo.
