Mango Market News



Mango volume shipped on the week ending 6/18/16 was approximately 3,907,373 boxes.


During the same week last year, volume shipped was approximately 3,157,789 boxes.


Total mango volume arrived at U.S. entry ports as of week 6/18/16 was approximately 54,434,269




Mexico Crop Information

The Mexican season began in January and will run until October with a projection of approximately 66 million boxes.

Mexico's main varieties are Tommy Atkins (38%), Ataulfo (26%), Kent (20%), Haden (7%), Keitt (8%) and other (1%).

Volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 3,829,982 boxes for a total of 38,929,964 boxes for the season.

During the same week last year, volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 3,014,081 boxes for a total of 44,853,442 boxes.




Haiti Crop Information


The Haitian season began in April and will run until September with a projection of approximately 2.4 million boxes.


Haiti's main variety is Madame Francis (100%).

Volume shipped from Haiti was approximately 77,391 boxes for a total of1,467,827 boxes for the season.


During the same week last year, volume shipped from Haiti was approximately 143,708 boxes for a total of 2,016,664 boxes.
