SEATTLE -- A Seattle non-profit is suing one of the world's largest banana producers over what they call deceptive marketing.
Banana trees cover landscapes in Guatemala, many growing fruit for California based Del Monte Foods and Fresh Del Monte. Their website tells consumers Del Monte "demands the highest level of ethical conduct" and believes it has a "responsibility to operate in a sustainable manner."
But videos filmed by Water and Sanitation Health, Inc. (WASH) tell a different story.
